The enterprise invested more than 20 million USD in Bac Ninh cargo sorting center, Ho Chi Minh City and applied automatic technology to improve cargo handling productivity.

The 2023 Emerging Market Logistics Index report released by transport and logistics provider Agility ranks Vietnam 10 out of 50 emerging logistics markets, up one place from the previous year. The quantity and quality of logistics services are also improved to increase competitiveness. The development goal of the logistics industry by 2025 is to contribute to GDP at 5-6%.

In Vietnam, BEST is one of the enterprises with strong investment in digital transformation, technology application in business operations, optimization in production lines.

BEST spends large costs on technology investment and modernization.

Accordingly, as soon as they set foot in the market, the enterprise imported the entire technology system from dimensional classification tape to barcode scanners, goods weighing sensors, automatic image scanners … from China to Vietnam for assembly.

The unit took nearly two years (from the end of 2019 to the end of 2021) to build the workshop and complete the installation of equipment. Currently, the enterprise is one of the units that owns the most modern classification line in the industry. The integrated automated devices have increased operational efficiency, giving the capacity to process more than 2.2 million orders per day.
